PayDay 2 Developer’s Mysterious Countdown Clock
OVERKILL Software, the developer behind PayDay 2, has posted a very intriguing countdown clock at overkill.com/whatsnext. This is obvious tease of their next game which after some poking around their website has one game title that we haven’t heard anything about in quite some time, Storm. After doing some more research it appears that this title was rumored to be a science fiction co-op shooter but we haven’t heard anything news about the title recently.
So the question is…what is OVERKILL up to? Well since I’m the curious type I decided to do the ‘ol CSI “zoom and enhance” trick and this is what I discovered.
If you will notice, the is something unique about the number 3. It looks almost like a there is a fungus or something growing on it but who knows. So when is saw this mysterious 3 I immediately thought PayDay 3, of course this is just speculating and I’m wrong just about every time.
The key thing here is to listen to the sound. If you wait long enough some dialogue can be heard of two people talking about “oxymorons”. Which had me thinking that maybe they are referring to Storm since it was apparently a Science Fiction game. Science and fiction are complete opposite…aren’t they? Well I could dissect this all night but I’ll leave that to you guys.
