Top 10 Video Game Trailers

With E3 coming up, I’ve been preparing myself to see a lot of game trailers so of course I had to go and find the best video game trailers and put them in a nice little list. So here you have it. My top 10 video game trailers!

10: Call of Duty Ghosts (Reveal Trailer)

I haven’t gotten the chance to play Ghosts’ campaign but every time I see this trailer it sure makes me want to play it. What more could you ask for from a trailer?

9: Crysis 2 (New York, New York)

It’s one of those sad music/shoot ’em up trailers…but its a really good one.

8: Gears of War 2 (Last Day)

Gears of War 2 felt like a suicide mission, and this short but awesome trailer sums that up quite well.

7: Mass Effect 2 (Launch Trailer)

We all know that adding a song by Two Steps from Hell makes anything better, but adding one to a Mass Effect 2 Trailer…get ready to have your mind blown!.

6: Halo 3: ODST (Live Action)

Bungie has some good trailers, but ODST stands out. It’s gritty and gripping; throwing you right into an ODST’s shoes. Even though its live-action, it perfectly captures the tone of the game.

5: Mirror’s Edge (Gameplay)

EA’s first person parkour game took the purist route for their trailer…it’s just straight gameplay. It shows off the fluidity of the game and its beautiful visuals. Plus you know what you’re buying.

4: DC Universe Online (Reveal Trailer)

This is the best superhero team up movie ever. That’s all I have to say about that

3: Batman: Arkham Knight (Reveal Trailer)

The newest trailer on this list and one of the coolest batman trailers to date. Thomas Wayne reading his last will and testament to Bruce, gives us a great contrast between what we are hearing and what we are seeing. It also gets me excited for Rocksteady’s last installment for their batman trilogy.

2: Halo 3 (Believe Trailer)

If you do not think this impressive then you either don’t realize this is all one sculpture or you really hate Halo

1: Dead Island (Announcement Trailer)

This has got to be one of the most depressing trailers, but it is a masterpiece. Too bad the game didn’t reach this level of emotion.
