Bethesda Announces BattleCry

Today Bethesda announced that it is publishing BattleCry Studios debut third-person online action game. BattleCry totes a distinct visual style, with Viktor Antonov (Half-Life 2, Dishonored) leading up the art team, and an interesting concept…a world without gunpowder. In this alternate timeline, the super powers at the dawn of the 20th century sign the Black Powder Treaty and began to send a select few soldiers to duke it out in an arena to fight their wars. The game will support 32-player battles as well as a dynamic movement system allowing players to “seamlessly grapple, evade and mantle to quickly cover distances and evade the other team.” In BattleCry you will need to be quick and precise. The title will also be free-to-play but no news of a release window yet. However, they did give us a pretty slick trailer. Check it out!
