The sequel to Homefront, the near future FPS where america is occupied by the KPA, has been officially revealed. Homefront: The Revolution is based in Philadelphia, the birth place of liberty and American citizens on about to embark on the second American Revolution. The game will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One in 2015 we will also see the first gameplay footage at E3 this year.
The first Homefront didn’t create a lot of buzz around it but according to PlayStation.Blog Deep Silver is using Crytek to completely overhaul the FPS experience in an open world/sandbox of Occupied Philadelphia. Players will take part in guerrilla warfare to take down the KPA. The game will also feature four-player co-op, so you can form a resistance together.
